Meet Jonna and Marines Hernandez, two sisters who knew that their grandfather needed complete home care, although they did not know where to start. After a quick Google search, they stumbled upon the New York for Seniors Health and Wellness Resource Fair in Queens and decided to take the initiative to attend.
“We did not know anything about the process of finding care for our grandfather, but fortunately we connected with so many community healthcare businesses and found all of the answers we needed at today’s event. If it weren’t for New York for Seniors, the truth is, we would still be without answers”, stated Marines.
According to Vernon Jones Jr., President at New York for Seniors’ parent company JIG Media, “This is exactly why we created the New York for Seniors initiative; to provide a trusted platform that connects community resources with seniors, caregivers, and heads of households”.
