The City University of New York (CUNY) is once again opening its doors to New Yorkers, offering 14 campuses as polling sites for both early voting and Election Day. From October 26 to November 3, 10 campuses across the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens will host early voting locations, with six campuses ready to serve voters on Election Day, November 5.

Voting at CUNY: A Tradition of Civic Engagement

"CUNY is proud to play a vital role in our city’s democratic process," said CUNY Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez. "Our campuses prepare students to engage in society every day, and welcoming voters during election season allows us to extend that commitment to the broader community."

The University’s civic engagement efforts are spearheaded by CUNY Votes, a non-partisan initiative that promotes voter registration, education, and participation across the university's 25 colleges. Voters will cast ballots for the next president and vice president, federal and state legislators, local judges, and crucial ballot proposals.

For those who have not yet registered, there is still time—eligible voters can register until October 26. Registration information is available on the CUNY Votes site, the New York State Board of Elections, and the NYC Board of Elections.
