BROOKLYN (June 26, 2017) – JIG Media announced the recent hire of S. Eric Blackwell, who will join the JIG Media team as Director of NYCPolitics.com. Within this role, Blackwell will oversee the editorial and marketing efforts for the site. He will also be responsible for developing online content and polling for the subscription-based service.

Mr. Blackwell brings over 25 years of local political campaign experience and over 20 years as a Graduate School Professor of Urban Studies at Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. Blackwell is the former managing editor for NewYorkforSeniors.com. He was also publisher and editor-in-chief of various local newspapers including the former Fort Greene News. This background has helped Blackwell to make an easy transition into his current position with JIG Media LLC.
