“A humble DMX was sentenced to one year in prison for tax evasion on Wednesday (March 28). According to TMZ, X told the judge he knew he was “too old” to be behaving the way he is and admitted he “hasn’t been acting right.”
During the hearing, which was held in a New York City courtroom, X’s attorney Murray Richman played the New York native’s video for “Slippin” to demonstrate his difficult path.”
