Affordable apartments are now open for applications at 2425 Pacific Street, a brand-new 10-story residential development offering 236 affordable and supportive housing units in the East New York section of Brooklyn. The deadline to apply is December 29, 2025, and eligible New Yorkers are encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible. APPLY HERE.

About the Building

2425 Pacific Street is a modern, all-electric, Green Building–designed development that provides high-quality affordable and supportive housing. Sixty percent of units are designated as supportive housing for formerly homeless or disabled residents referred through NYC agencies. The remaining 40% of apartments are available to the general public through the Housing Connect lottery.

The building offers a wide range of amenities, including:

• Bike storage and tenant bulk storage

• Tenant lounge areas throughout the building

• Computer and reading room

• Community room

• Reception desk and package room

• Outdoor landscaped patio and children’s play area

• High-speed internet access for all tenants (up to 150 Mbps)

The property is conveniently located near Pitkin Avenue, providing access to retail, banking, and other daily services. Tenants are responsible for electricity, including electric stove and A/C charges. Heat and hot water are included in the rent.

Affordable Housing Programs

This development is part of the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development’s Supportive Housing Loan Program and Mandatory Inclusionary Housing Program. Supportive Housing provides permanent affordable housing with on-site services for vulnerable populations, while the remaining units are available through a public lottery.
