Flow Hip Hop and the Church,” featuring Grammy Nominated gospel sensation Kierra Sheared, and Love and Hip Hop Realty Star Peter Gunz, Singing Sensation Valarie Adams and Hip Hop Artist Altarik “Flow” Winstead are in the hit stage play called “FLOW”.  Peter Gunz plays Trent an entertainment executive looking for the next big hip-hop star.  He is introduced to Flow by singing sensation Dani Rice played by actor/model, Jenaya Faulkner. Flow, an aspiring hip-hop artist gets caught in his mother’s deception as he attempts to follow his dreams as a Hip Hop artist.  His mother, Pastor Claire, played by Valarie Adams, has a past, which contributes to an unimaginable climax as she asks her son Flow to choose between the Hip-Hop world and the church. You don’t want to miss this play written and directed by Dr. Kenneth R. Hamilton during a limited New York engagement.

The three-time Grammy-nominated American R&B record producer, radio host, recording artist and actor joins The Stage Play ‘FLOW Hip Hop and the Church”.  Al B. Sure is known as being one of the most popular romantic singers.  His debut Album “In Effect Mode” sold more than two million copies, topping the Billboard R&B chart for seven straight weeks. This album included “Nite and Day, “which topped the R&B chart and reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.  Receiving numerous Grammy and American Music Award nominations, Al B. sure has also featured in singles “The Secret Garden” with other top artists such as Quincy Jones, James Ingram, El DeBarge and Barry White. He is also a Mount Vernon, NY Native!!!

KIERRA “KiKi” SHEARD

The incredible Kierra Sheard joins the amazing cast, American gospel singer, songwriter, actress and radio host.  Kierra Sheard is the daughter of the gospel singer Karen Clark Sheard (member of the gospel singing group The Clark Sisters).  Kierra Sheard has multiple albums, but her album, “This is Me” debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album and nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R& B Gospel Album.

PETER GUNZ

Love and Hip-Hop TV realty star, Peter Gunz also known for his 1990’s Hip-Hop career and hit single “Déjà vu (Uptown Baby). The hit single “Déjà vu” went platinum and peaked #9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

ALTARIK “Flow” WINSTEAD

Starring as “Flow” Altarik Winstead is a rising music producer and hip-hop artist and radio host.  He has worked along side singing sensation Valarie Adams, Angie Stone, Al B. Sure and Peter Gunz.  His credits include work on Get Rich or Die Trying. This is his first major production in a starring role.

Dr. Kenneth Hamilton

Playwright  Dr. Kenneth R. Hamilton is the writer and director of Flow Hip-Hop and The Church.  Dr. Hamilton has written and directed previous plays, Before the Walk and After the Walk, featuring Kelly Price.  Flow is Dr. Hamilton’s 3rd major stage production.
