“As of Friday, an extremely adorable and informative exhibit has taken up residence in the lobby of The Brooklyn Public Library’s Central branch off Grand Army Plaza.
The “tiny science museum,” as BPL has formally referred to the itty bitty installation, features a holographic aquarium, a 3D print of an octopus heart, a bucket of slime, not one, not two, but three miniature movie theaters.
In addition to the exhibit, librarians have also put together an online reading list for those interested in learning up on mollusks, because every snail is a tiny science museum unto itself.
BPL’s Central Branch is located at 10 Grand Army Plaza.”
