“SZA’s platinum-selling single, “The Weekend,” now gets a new male perspective thanks to Wale’s remix of the track.
On Thursday (Jan. 11), the MMG rapper shared his version of the hit song, adding his poetry-esque flow to “The Weekend.” Borrowing many of the same themes SZA sings about, Wale raps, “Look, I’m sorry we got us a lil’ problem/Monogamy not for the weak hearted.”
