(PRESS RELEASE) Nord Anglia International School New York Opens New Gramercy Campus

Ribbon cutting marks NAISNY’s move to a larger, modern learning environment near Madison Square Park

New York, NY — October 1, 2025 — Nord Anglia International School New York (NAISNY) today announced the opening of its new campus in Gramercy, marking a major milestone in the school’s growth and its continued investment in world-class, personalized education for students from toddler through 8th grade.

The vibrant new site, just steps away from Madison Square Park, replaces NAISNY’s former Lower East Side location and provides expanded, thoughtfully arranged spaces that support strong academics, student well-being, and global citizenship. Conveniently, the campus is one block from the 23 Street station on the 6 train and just a short walk from Union Square, one of the city’s key transit hubs.

“The energy and excitement among students and faculty alike is palpable as you walk the halls of our new building,” said Jimmy Frawley, Principal of NAISNY. “Our Gramercy campus gives us space to grow while preserving the warm, close-knit, high-expectations culture our families have come to love. This marks the beginning of the next chapter of our journey—and we couldn’t be more excited for what our students will accomplish here.”

NAISNY celebrated this new chapter with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 12, at 111 E 22nd Street, attended by school leadership, regional leaders from Nord Anglia Education, faculty, students and families, as well as invited community partners and special guests, including British Consul Deputy General Mel Lawrance, who shared a few remarks before doing the honors of cutting the red ribbon across the front doors.

The move enhances NAISNY’s globally focused program, including collaborations with institutions such as MIT, The Juilliard School, IMG Academy, and UNICEF. These partnerships—along with small class sizes and personalized learning—offer distinctive opportunities in STEAM, the performing arts, athletics, and social impact, preparing students to thrive as bold, creative global citizens.

“NAISNY’s beautiful new home underscores Nord Anglia’s commitment to provide an exceptional learning environment where our students can flourish and grow,” said Mitch Salerno, Managing Director, Nord Anglia Education. “We’re proud to invest in this campus that supports our deep commitment to both academic excellence and the well-being of our students and educators.”
