As housing challenges continue to affect Central Brooklyn, many renters and homeowners are facing rising housing costs, deed theft risks, uncertainty around housing programs, and barriers to homeownership. Events like the SD25 Renters & Homeowners Resource Fair, in Bedford Stuyvesant, give residents a chance to access trusted information, connect with support services, and better understand the resources available to help them protect their homes and navigate housing-related issues.

Brooklyn, NY — Assemblywoman Stefani Zinerman is encouraging residents to attend the SD25 Renters & Homeowners Resource Fair on Saturday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Restoration Plaza, 1368 Fulton Street in Brooklyn, New York. Renters and homeowners will be able to connect with housing experts, agencies, and community organizations offering critical information and support, for residents of Bedford Stuyvesant and surrounding areas.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 4, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Restoration Plaza, located at 1368 Fulton Street in Brooklyn, in the heart of Assemblywoman Zinerman’s district.

Zinerman will be there to support the initiative and to speak directly with renters and homeowners about the issues they are facing, while helping connect residents to available resources and services.

Housing Resources for Renters and Homeowners

The resource fair will provide access to information and services related to deed theft prevention, NYCHA/RAD PACT updates, transitional and supportive housing, homeownership opportunities, and tenant protections.

“This is an important event for our community because so many renters and homeowners are dealing with real housing challenges and need access to reliable information and support,” said Assemblywoman Stefani Zinerman. “I encourage residents to come out, learn about the resources that are available, and take this opportunity to speak up about the issues they are facing. I will be there to support this initiative and to hear directly from members of the community.”
