We welcome original submissions on topics including:

- Ideas that could improve New York City
Submissions may be opinion pieces, personal essays, community commentary, first-person experiences, or thoughtful analyses of issues affecting New Yorkers.
Submission Guidelines
- Articles should be original and written by the person submitting them.
- Typical submissions range from 400 to 1,500 words.
- Please include your full name and neighborhood or borough.
- Submissions should be factual, respectful, and free from personal attacks.
- Promotional content, advertisements, and spam will not be accepted.
- We reserve the right to edit submissions for grammar, style, clarity, length, and formatting.
- Submission does not guarantee publication.
Photos
Photos are not required.
If you choose to submit an image, it must be:
- High-resolution
- Owned by you or submitted with permission
- Free of text, flyers, logos, or promotional graphics
- Relevant to the topic of your article
