Janice Chen, candidate for Kings County Civil Court Judge, is officially on the ballot after collecting over 10,000 signatures during the petitioning process. This significant milestone marks the next phase of her campaign — one that centers around community conversations, shared values, and a deep commitment to fairness and equity on the bench.
“I’m deeply thankful to every Brooklynite who signed a petition, showed support, and invited me into your communities,” said Chen. “This campaign has always been about listening first — and I look forward to continuing to connect with Brooklynites in every part of the borough.”
Janice Chen has pledged to be a judge who reflects the values of Brooklyn: fairness, integrity, and equal treatment for all. With petitioning now behind her, she plans to spend the coming weeks walking through the borough, attending community events, and connecting directly with voters from all backgrounds.

“This is a crucial moment in our city’s history,” Chen emphasized. “The decisions we make now — especially around justice — will shape the future of Brooklyn for years to come. Let’s make sure every voice is counted.”
