Brooklyn Civil Court Campaign

Brooklyn, NY — [October 13, 2025] — Civil rights attorney Chidi A. Eze has officially launched his campaign for Kings County Civil Court Judge in the 4th Municipal District, which includes the neighborhoods of Brownsville, East New York, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Canarsie, Crown Heights, and East Flatbush. Early Voting begins on Saturday, October 25, 2025, and runs through Sunday, November 2, 2025, with Election Day set for Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Born in Nigeria and later making Brooklyn his home, Eze has dedicated more than 20 years of his legal career to standing up for everyday New Yorkers. From his Downtown Brooklyn law office, he has fought tirelessly for fairness, compassion, and integrity in the courts.

“I am running for Kings County Civil Court Judge because my life’s work has been about standing up for fairness, justice, and the people of Brooklyn,” said Eze. “From the day I opened my law office in Downtown Brooklyn more than 20 years ago, I have dedicated myself to defending homeowners against unjust foreclosures, fighting for workers facing discrimination, and protecting civil rights in our courts.”

Eze’s journey, from his early life in Nigeria to serving Brooklyn families for two decades, reflects his deep commitment to justice and resilience.

“I know what it means to come to Brooklyn with nothing but a dream and a determination to serve,” he continued. “I have represented individuals facing employment discrimination and Civil Rights Violations in over 100 federal cases, taken on big banks to protect our neighbors’ homes, and played a role in passing the Foreclosure Abuse Prevention Act, legislation that has already saved thousands of families across New York.”

With decades of advocacy behind him, Eze emphasized that his commitment as a judge would remain rooted in fairness and accessibility.

“My commitment has always been to those who don’t have the means to fight back alone,” said Eze. “As judge, I will bring that same dedication to fairness, compassion, and integrity to every case before me, ensuring that our courts are a place where justice is not reserved for the powerful, but belongs to every Brooklyn resident.”
