Fusion East is betting that affordability and variety can help keep customers engaged at a time when New Yorkers are watching their food budgets more closely. After finding an audience for its $7 Real Meal, the Brooklyn-based business is preparing to introduce Chick-All-Day in September, expanding its lower-cost offerings while continuing to experiment with new ways to reach customers.

Fusion East Expands Its Affordable Dining Offerings with New Chick-All-Day Meal

New chicken meal concept builds on the success of Fusion East's $7 Real Meal as the Brooklyn business continues to expand its affordable food offerings and find new ways to reach customers

BROOKLYN, NY — August 20, 2026 — Fusion East is expanding its affordable food offerings with the introduction of Chick-All-Day, a new meal concept built around flavor, variety and value. Beginning in September, customers will be able to choose from several styles of chicken served with steak fries and a drink, with meals expected to start at approximately $11. The new offering builds on the success of Fusion East's $7 Real Meal and represents another step in the company's continued expansion of affordable meal options.

The introduction of Chick-All-Day comes as Fusion East continues to explore new ways to grow while responding to what customers want. From affordable meal concepts to food trucks, catering and live music, Fusion East has steadily expanded the ways it reaches and serves its customers. Owner Andrew Walcott says that growth is being driven by a willingness to try new ideas while keeping food, value and the customer experience at the center of the business.

“We're always looking at how Fusion East can grow and how we can give our customers more,” said Andrew Walcott, owner of Fusion East. “Affordability is a big part of that because people are paying attention to what they're spending. Chick-All-Day gives us another opportunity to offer good food, more choices and real value at a price that makes sense.”

Expanding Affordable Choices

Chick-All-Day takes one of the most familiar and popular foods — chicken — and gives customers several different ways to enjoy it. Customers will be able to choose from jerk, curry, stew, BBQ, buffalo, fried and honey garlic chicken, with the new meals served with steak fries and a drink. The variety brings together some of Fusion East's Caribbean influences with familiar chicken favorites while keeping affordability at the center of the concept.

The new meals are expected to start at approximately $11, giving customers another affordable option at Fusion East. Chick-All-Day will be offered for takeout, making it convenient for customers who want a complete meal they can pick up and enjoy wherever they are headed. Final pricing and individual meal configurations will be announced closer to the launch.

“Chicken is something almost everybody enjoys, and there are so many different ways you can prepare it,” Walcott said. “We wanted to give people enough variety that they could come back and have something different. At the same time, we wanted to keep it affordable and make sure customers are getting real value for their money.”

Building on the Success of the $7 Real Meal

Chick-All-Day follows the success of Fusion East's $7 Real Meal, which was created to give customers a satisfying meal at an affordable price. The response demonstrated that customers were looking for greater value as the costs of food, dining out and other everyday expenses continued to increase. It also gave Fusion East an opportunity to see how affordability could become a more significant part of its approach to developing new food concepts.

Instead of treating the $7 Real Meal as a one-time promotion, Fusion East has continued looking at ways to expand its affordable food offerings. Chick-All-Day builds on that approach by adding more variety and creating another accessible option for customers. The goal is to develop meals that can fit different budgets while maintaining the flavors and quality people expect from Fusion East.

“The $7 Real Meal showed us that people really appreciate having an affordable option,” Walcott said. “Customers still want good food, but they want to know they're getting value for what they spend. Chick-All-Day allows us to build on what we've learned and give people another affordable choice with even more variety.”

Expansion Through New Ideas

The launch of Chick-All-Day is part of a larger pattern of expansion at Fusion East. While its Brooklyn location remains at the center of the business, Fusion East has continued developing different ways to reach customers and create new experiences. Its growth has included food trucks, catering, live music, special events and affordable meal concepts, each providing another way for people to connect with Fusion East.

The company's food trucks have taken Fusion East's food directly to events and communities throughout New York City, extending its reach beyond its Elton Street location. Live music has created another reason for customers to visit, combining food and entertainment on select nights. Affordable concepts such as the $7 Real Meal and now Chick-All-Day represent another area of expansion, giving Fusion East opportunities to reach customers who are increasingly focused on value.

“Growth isn't always about doing one big thing,” Walcott said. “Sometimes it's about adding different things that make sense for your customers. The food trucks, live music, catering, the $7 Real Meal and now Chick-All-Day are all different ways for us to keep growing, reach more people and give customers more reasons to choose Fusion East.”

Making Affordability Part of the Growth

For Fusion East, affordability has increasingly become connected to expansion rather than being viewed simply as a discount or promotion. As consumers become more selective about where they spend their money, businesses have to find ways to create value that customers can recognize. Fusion East believes complete meals at accessible prices can help address that demand while introducing its food to a wider range of customers.

That strategy is particularly important as Fusion East looks to serve customers with different needs. Some may come for a traditional dining experience or an evening of live music, while others may encounter Fusion East through a food truck, catering or an affordable takeout meal. Creating multiple ways to experience Fusion East allows the business to expand while giving customers more choices about when and how they engage with it.

“We want Fusion East to have something for different customers and different moments,” Walcott said. “You may come out for dinner and live music one night, see one of our food trucks at an event another day, or stop in and pick up Chick-All-Day when you want an affordable meal. The important thing is that wherever you experience Fusion East, we're giving you quality and value.”

Rooted in East New York, Reaching a Broader Audience

Fusion East is located at 1179 Elton Street in Brooklyn, near Gateway Center and the growing Spring Creek residential community. East New York is where Fusion East was established and remains an important part of its identity, but the business attracts customers from neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn and other parts of New York City. Its food trucks, catering and events have provided additional opportunities to introduce Fusion East to audiences beyond the immediate community.

Chick-All-Day has the potential to broaden that appeal through a food that is familiar to a wide range of customers. With preparations ranging from jerk and curry to BBQ, buffalo, honey garlic and fried chicken, the concept brings together Caribbean influences and familiar favorites. Combining those choices with affordability gives Fusion East another way to reach both existing customers and people experiencing its food for the first time.

“East New York is where we built Fusion East, but our customers come from all over,” Walcott said. “As we grow, we want to continue reaching more people without losing the connection to the community that has supported us. Chick-All-Day is another opportunity to do that by giving people something that's affordable, familiar and still has the flavors they expect from Fusion East.”

Chick-All-Day Arrives in September

Fusion East plans to introduce Chick-All-Day in September, adding the concept to its expanding lineup of affordable food options. The takeout meals are expected to start at approximately $11 and will feature a selection of chicken preparations served with steak fries and a drink. Additional details, including final pricing, will be announced as Fusion East gets closer to the launch.

For Walcott, Chick-All-Day is another example of how a relatively simple idea can become part of a larger growth strategy. The success of the $7 Real Meal demonstrated the demand for affordability, while Fusion East's food trucks, catering and entertainment programming have demonstrated the value of reaching customers in different ways. Chick-All-Day brings those lessons together around a new food concept designed to offer affordability, variety and value.

“The best ideas are the ones customers respond to,” Walcott said. “That's what we saw with the $7 Real Meal, and we're excited to see how people respond to Chick-All-Day. We're going to keep listening, keep trying new ideas and keep finding ways to grow while giving our customers good food and real value.”
