Caylie Filipa's Double Debut

Brooklyn, NY — This June, Superposition House, a new indie theatre collective, kicks off its NYC debut with These Are the Rules — two original plays by Brooklyn-based playwright Caylie Filipa, performed as a striking double-bill at Brooklyn Art Haus.

Filipa, a Brooklyn local and the voice behind both works, brings a sharp, emotionally rich lens to the complexities of domestic life, power, and survival. Her plays dive deep, offering both gut-punch drama and dark humor:

This World Is Mine – A powerful exploration of trauma, agency, and survival.

Game Night – A darkly comedic take on power dynamics and the fine line between connection and competition.

Superposition House was founded by early-career theatre-makers Emilia Littin-Egaña, Abigail Rhyne, and Rohan Padmakumar to champion fresh voices and original work that speaks to real experiences — messy, bold, and unfiltered.
