Kota described Cozy Girls as a “chill yet upbeat song that celebrates women that have high standards for themselves and the energies that they allow into their lives. These types of women aren’t celebrated nearly enough, so I wanted to show them some love via Cozy Girls”
The full No Rap on Sunday album is set to release on all DSPs in July, but fans can already stream the entire album early via EVEN.biz, an exclusive platform allowing direct artist-to-fan music access.
Kota describes No Rap on Sunday as more than just an album—it’s a message and a mission. “No Rap on Sunday is a movement. It’s about peace, balance, and creating space to breathe in a world that never stops moving. It’s a reminder to slow down, to reflect, to feel something real,” he said.
“Cozy Girls” arrives as the perfect follow-up to “Michigan,” showing a different texture in Kota’s sound—intimate, melodic, and focused on mood. It speaks to independence, femininity, and finding warmth in a chaotic world.
Kota added, “Each song on No Rap on Sunday serves a purpose. ‘Michigan’ was the intro, but ‘Cozy Girls’ is the vibe check. It’s where we slow it down and enjoy the moment.”
“Cozy Girls” will be available on all streaming platforms at midnight Friday, May 16.
